Three area plant societies have partnered to offer the public an educational and unusual show, as part of the National Buffalo Garden Festival.

The Western New York Hosta Society's Hosta Blooms Show will be the first accredited Hosta Bloom Show in the nation, as new rules and procedures are formulated for the American Hosta Society. Judging of Hosta Blooms is open to the public, and the Show officially opens at 1:00 p.m.
 
In addition, the WNY Iris Society will offer a Japanese Iris Show, and the Buffalo Area Daylily Society will offer a Daylily Bloom Exhibit with IKEBANA Floral Arrangements

Members of the three societies will be available for Q & A, with available educational displays. The Buffalo Chapter 50, IKEBANA Society will use Japanese Iris, Hosta Blooms and Daylilies in a Design Workshop at 2:00 pm.
