Garden Walk Buffalo, along with the Buffalo Niagara Convention & Visitors Bureau, is helping to form a new, five-week-long National Buffalo Garden Festival, June 18 to July 25.

We plan on promoting:

• All the existing great garden tours in the area (eighteen of them!)
• Already-planned programming by garden centers & culturals in the area wrapped in a garden theme.
  
• A visit from about 70 garden bloggers & writers from 23 different states and Canada

We're also planning a few new events:

• Open Gardens with select residential gardens from around Western New York, open for viewing during the Festival.
• Keynote speakers garden book authors Stephanie Cohan & Amy Stewart
• Garden-themed bus tours
  
• A Front Yard Garden Competition (on the East Side of Buffalo) among the members of the WNY Nursery & Landscape Garden guru Sally Cunningham is the Project Coordinator for the National Garden Festival Association.
